From the beginning, a force of revolt (Satan) has worked to confuse and muddy our perception of God’s character. His strategy is to create counterfeits for many of the good things God created and laws He established to keep us safe and happy. Because of this, the world is full of conflicting beliefs—and our view of God’s loving character has been twisted. It is almost impossible to sort out truth without careful study of the Bible. The more clearly we understand the truths of God’s Word, the more completely we will understand the depth of His love.
